Liberine (auch Releasing-Hormone) sind Hormone aus dem Hypothalamus, die die Ausschüttung von Hypophysenvorderlappen-Hormonen stimulieren. Beispiele sind TRH (thyreotropin-releasing hormone), CRH (corticotropin-releasing hormone) und GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone).
